New fave place!!! A little fancy, yet relaxed. Details!! Food was fantastic and very fresh. Basil citrus salad made with real basil every morning is incredible! The thick cheese on the burger was even melted/browned, sesame seed bun is commercial worthy. Chocolate cake.. oh my. Rich food, great seating, friendly service (took a while to get a different beer when I didn't care for the first 'taster' i ordered. and to pay the bill.) Server at the bar was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Apparently their fresh oysters are very popular. - Will be back soon!
I could eat this everyday!!!! Prices are on the higher end the taste of the food is worth it. A great place for a date, with friends, or to spoil yourself. I recommend the Brussel sprouts and Seared tuna. Parking you may get lucky and get a spot in the road. Otherwise there is a parking garage very close to the restaurant.
Draft House is one of my favorite restaurants in Janesville. Great food, great atmosphere, and some of the best reasonably priced lunch specials around. Always a solid spot for a quick business lunch or dinner with family and friends. The staff does a great job and the quality is consistently good. Definitely recommend checking them out if you haven’t been there.
Superb. I was in town for a work event and decided to check this place out because the images on Google looks like really well-presented and scrumptious meals. The vibe and ambiance reminded me of a place in Brisbane I visited a couple years back, all bougie but totally welcoming and classy. I sat at the bar, I was immediately greeted despite the small crowd around the bar (in fact, the bar seems the place to sit, even enjoying a 5 star meal), and the drink recommended to me, a Kentucky Old Fashioned, hit it on the nail for me as far as not sweet, a tad smokey and rich enough to melt on the tongue without a sting. I ordered the Siracha Glazed Salmon on a bed of asparagus risotto....delectable. The salmon was beautifully flaky and flavorful, the skin lightly seasoned so every bite packed some delight for the taste buds. I kept eating long after my stomach said "too much!"...because how could something this good be "too much"? Go here. Prices are reasonable, the view of the river is lovely, the ambiance is welcoming even for someone on their lonesome journey, there are several TVs for news and games around the bar, and between the extensive craft beer and house cocktails, there is something for everyone.
I had their ruby sparkler. A non alcoholic moc tail while waiting for family to arrive. It was actually delicious! Made with fresh squeezed grapefruit and I believe cranberries. So good. This place has a nice higher end atmosphere and high quality looking menu. I didn't have time to eat unfortunately. I will be back there to eat.
Well going to give a big thank you to staff anyways. So friendly to my family I go here for the. Welcoming vibe the staff bring and the food is great. I took my k8ds to McDonald's just for apple sl8ces and to play at. Play land and my four year old said " i don't want burgers from here I want DRAFT HOUSE BURGER " need i say more. Lunch specials will not be beat in price or quality of fine dinning. I go here for family and business meetings. I would have to say. The Water is the best lol if you know you know....
Came here for lunch, and it was so good we went back for dinner. We will definitely be back next time we are in Janesville. Service was fantastic. Steaks cooked to perfection....and toe goat cheese mashed potatoes were to die for. Love it!
Great experience all around. The Craft burger and fries were outstanding. The Korean Pork bowl was fabulous. Had to try the cheese curds and won’t find any better. Very uniquely prepared. Slightly crisp on outside and soft inside. Tina was a delight and all staff we encountered were so friendly. Tina even thanked us for choosing a local business vs a chain as we were just passing through on our way back to MN. Would definitely go back on our travels through the cute downtown of Janesville WI.

Great location with friendly staff, excellent food and a modern feel. The space was very warm and welcoming. We ordered the bruschetta and a flatbread. The steak on the bruschetta was cooked perfectly and the balsamic and cheese were a nice touch to the dish. Its a must try!
